Parkinson’s disease is a progressive nervous system disorder that leads to shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with walking, balance, and coordination. Symptoms usually begin gradually, starting with a barely noticeable tremor in just one hand, and worsens over time. As the disease progresses, the person may have difficulty walking and talking, and may also result in mental and behavioural changes, sleep problems, depression, memory difficulties as well as fatigue. Woodrose Senior Residences organised our very first Employee Appreciation Day on 15th March 2021 to acknowledge and recognise the dedication of our employees from all our homes.
